Rabbi Deborah Schloss

Rabbi Deborah Schloss was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1996.  She was the first Conservative female pulpit rabbi in Canada, serving the frozen chosen in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rabbi Deborah has lived in Houston since 1998, working as a pulpit rabbi and board certified chaplain.  Two of her prayers were featured in the recently published book, Prayers and Blessings for Healthcare Workers.  She is married to Eljay Waldman and is the proud mother of Priya

Rabbi- Soloist David Kay

Rabbi David Kay was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in May 2002, when he also received his MA in Jewish Education. He served Congregation Ohev Shalom in Maitland, FL, from 2004 to 2021. During rabbinical school, he was student Rabbi for several congregations, including Shalom Independent Congregation of Johannesburg, South Africa, and conducted High Holiday services in voice and sign language at the Rochester Institute of Technology / National Technical Institute of the Deaf.

A native of Chicago, Rabbi David and Joanne Goldman Kay live in Orlando. Their son, Jonah, a graduate of the Joint Program of Columbia University and List College of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, currently lives in London.
