Meet Our Rabbi

Rabbi Deborah Schloss was ordained at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1996.  She was the first Conservative female pulpit rabbi in Canada, serving the frozen chosen in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Rabbi Deborah has lived in Houston since 1998, working as a pulpit rabbi and board certified chaplain.  Two of her prayers were featured in the recently published book, Prayers and Blessings for Healthcare Workers.  She is married to Eljay Waldman and is the proud mother of Priya.
